Shabby Chic Tilda

Hi here is another post using CLP-  sketch with Magnolia down under theme - Shabby Chic with lots of white.Fab and funky -#66 Shabby Chic,Stamping Royalty #65 The heat is on( heat Embossing)

Here is my card

The base paper is from DCWV embossing stack .I added some distress ink to the base card.Heat emboss the blue paper with a script stamped in white and the pink paper has a white embossed wood grain image.Glue them on and add the circle DP on.Then added a emboss rectangle paper on with Tilda sitting on a pom pom trim.Add some die cut flourish, flowers,pearls and three feathers.

For the inside of the card I created some doily image and stamped script stamp on to it .Added a sentiment and two flowers.

Hello Forever Friends



Hi everyone, its Thursday afternoon at about 1 plus over here in Singapore.Today's card is using decoupage technique to create a card for Forever Friends DT contest.I love F.F bears they were my fave , during my teens..was so happy to find this blog ,Thanks Gemma .I found it on your blog.

I don't really have any FF stamps.Were surprise and happy to know they have been made into stamps.Will try to get my hands on some.....
Okay so ,back to my card, I don't have stamps but I have a calender which I bought long time ago..way back in 1997..can you believed it I still have it!So I cut out the picture and created this card.Not sure if I can use them for this challenge , but its a image of FF bear, so I think its ok.
 I am recycling...

For this card I used plain cardstock.Rub/ sponge on  Distress ink- tea dye and stamp woodgrain print on the cover of the card.To create the look of a wooden house.Cut out two strips of paper -one orange and one pink, glue it on the left side .Cut out the window without bear, add stickles to the window frame.Cut out the lower portion with the flowers and glue it to the card.Add pop dots to the window and glue it on the woodgrain stamped image.Slightly over the portion with the flowers.Then add ribbon , flowers and buttons.

As for the inside of the card ,I cut and layered 2 squares, stamped on text.  Cut out a  strip of paper glue it slightly on part of the ribbon to secure it. Then glue on a layered piece of rectangle paper with flower pattern stamped on.Have also stamped on woograin image and randomly stamped on the flowers for the background.

Tilda-for Mum

Hi everyone,here is a quick post.Today's card uses Cute Card Thursday Sketch with a mother's day theme.This card is for my Mum,cause she is everything wonderful to me! 



For the inside of the card I have used the negative of the oval.So that there is a link to the cover.

Have added a pearl necklace and bracelet with stickles on Tilda.

Spring Mimi n Miles



Hi peeps here is the sketch of my third card.

Yes , like my bunny card It has evouled ,I think it looks better,right!? Okay ,I have used embossed flower from DCWV embossed stack. Have rubbed on some blue and green  distress inks on the embossed flowers.Repeated stamp flower print on a piece of pink paper and punch it  with scallop punch,add faux stiches to it.Glue on to the base card,glue the yellow-orange shaped and add faux stiches to it,layer the dotted DP to a blue paperand glue it.Stamp lace pattern and glue a piece of green paper with text on .Stamped Mimi and Miles with black ink add detail -glossy accents,stickles ,and a string of pearls on Mimi's skirt.Add pearls on the dots of the DP behind her.Decorate with flowers and gems,ribbon and lace.The add the text For You with pop dots.

As for the inside of the card ,I place a doily and use distress ink to rub over it, creating a doily image on the card.Die Cut two circles , layered and added faux stiches.Cut and glue a strip of paper and the circle on the card ,stamp the cake image and BD wishes

Spring is in the air,bunny

My next card is also using a bunny stamp since its Spring... and will be April soon. For this 2nd card the theme is Recycling.So I am using left over scraps , negative of die cuts,buttons from old shirt .....this was my rough sketch.... I just place them together to have a idea of how my card will look like..





The red flower with polka dots are punch out from magazine, the orange semi-circle is from a tissue box,buttons are from an old shirt.The paper used are all from my box of scrap DP.Notice I have change the butterfly to a smaller die-cut butterfly.Have used a border punch to punch the green strip of paper.Added a pink gem to the dot of all the  'i's. The words Spring is in the air was from a strip of leftover paper, thought it matches this picture.

Here is the inside of this card, I have also added those polka-dotted flowers and used a negative of a die cut it's polka dotted too..I think the positive is on my precious moment card.Which I made last month.

 For the 1st card I have repeatedly stamped the bunny image with green ink to created a background.Then stamped one in black and painted with watercolour,have added glossy accents to the roses.

For this weeks challenge you will create a BIRTHDAY card or project FOR ADULTS ONLY! …

I decided to create a french inspired card with faux stitching.Love the black and white with a touch of green,its not a kiddy colour so I think it would be a lovely card for an adult.The best wishes was a clear stamp set which I have brought a long time ago.Wow..19 mar 2007that was written on the back.The bird is a cling set I bought last year.The image of the bird is simple yet elegant , works well as a ( Bird-day card).....When you open the card to look inside

I have actually folded the printed design in ,so that when you open the card you will have a pleasant surprise.(plus I feel that this print for the cover will look very busy)

I just realized that I started my GD card with a duck and ended with a bird.
